La Ecovilla Original is where the Ecovilla story started. Founded in 2012 along the Machuca River in Costa Rica, it's the first regenerative ecovillage of its kind, now home to 48 families from all over the world, who share gardens, fruit trees, a saltwater pool, and a genuine sense of community.
